1. Legoland Malaysia

Stands on its own, the first Lego theme park in Asia was launched in the year 2012. Placed in Nusajaya Johor, the year 2014 saw the introduction of the new Legoland Water Park for its guests and visitors. With a cartoon inspired theme like Angry Birds and Hello Kitty and elegant indoor experiences with Star Wars, you can get a rare chance to click yourself with your favorite characters such as the legendary Sith Lords, Darth Vader, Yoda, and R2-D2.

2. Sunway Lagoon

One of the premier theme and water parks in Malaysia. Placed in the state of Selangor, this theme park features a man-made beach, exciting water rides, an amusement park, surfing pool, a wildlife park, scream park, an Extreme Park, and plenty of entertainment facilities to engage yourself. The theme park also houses the 1st Nickelodeon themed land in Asia. The Vuvuzela is one of the most popular thrilling water rides which may give you an adrenaline rush or lower your pulse rate. 3. Berjaya Times Square Theme Park

Placed on the Malaysia Book of Records for being the largest indoor theme park in Malaysia. Spread over an incredible area of 133,000 square feet, there are three main levels in this theme park featuring a Galaxy Station and a Fantasy Garden. Placed inside the Berjaya Times Square Mall, we recommend you to check out the Supersonic Odyssey and DNA Mixer for experiencing the ride of your life.

4. Lost World of Tambun

Placed in the Sunway City, Ipoh, this theme park is popular for its Water Park and hot spring spa. Some of the popular attractions here include an amusement park, a Water Park, Tiger Park, Tin Valley, Adventure Park, and Petting Zoo. No matter what the age of your little one is, they are surely have more than sufficient to explore. The longest man-made adventure river which measures 660 meters long however steals the show among all attractions in the Lost World of Tambun.

5. Genting Highlands Theme Park

This is the oldest and the largest theme park in Malaysia with a rich history spanning almost 30 years. In the year 2016, this theme park welcomed a massive renovation of over US$ 300 million with the Twentieth Century Fox World and is one of the first every film-inspired theme park featuring 25+ thrilling rides and attractions that are inspired by your favorite cartoon and movies such as A Night at the Museum, Alien vs Predator, Planet of the Apes, The Life of Pi, and Fox like Ice Age.

6. Melaka Wonderland Theme Park

This fabulous water theme park is placed on the Ayer Keroh main road within 15 minutes from the Melaka town in the neighborhood of the Melaka Zoo. Nestled in a 360 hectares of natural green recreational forests, this park features 16 thrilling attractions such as 1 Big Wave Pool, The Pendulum, the Adventure Island, the Lazy Cum Crazy River, Anaconda Twist, and a host of other attractions. Some of the popular spots include the Tornado Chaser where the visitors go rotating down a giant bowl and the Kamikase Racer where a high-speed thrill ride is powered on six provided lanes.

8. ESCAPE Adventure Play Theme Park

This theme park features exciting and thrilling rides and games that are hosted in a natural environment. Placed in Teluk Bahang, Penang, this is the only theme park that is based in Penang. There are several rides and games across all age groups. Trying leaping through the air or swinging through the air like a Tarzan or climbing a tower like a stick gecko, and much more. 9. I-city Theme Park

A unique experience using Digital Lights, this theme park gives you the ultimate experience of indulging in tame to thrilling wild water rides which is extended till late night (1 am). The popular rides features Spiral and Rainbow slides, a Children’s adventure pool, a Water pool with a giant LED screen, a Giant Jacuzzi, River Adventure through LED-lit grottoes, and much more. 10. Puteri Harbour Family Theme Park

Set in Johor Bahru, this theme park is tailored to fulfill the needs of the little ones. There are several activities and games for the little ones to be engaged all day long. Sanrio Hello Kitty Town is the star attractions of this theme park and it welcomes visitors from all over the world. Accessible easily via a 35-minute drive from the City Center in Malaysia and a 25-minute drive from Singapore.
